Dedicated To Serve
We have dedicated our lives to serving others in whatever way we can. We work in various avenues in multiple countries where there is an opportunity to help, comfort, love, teach, and impact the lives of those who are suffering. We do not have a center (or a house for that matter), but work on the streets, in homeless shelters, in prisons, in hospitals, in youth detention centers, in slums, communities, parishes, with victims of conflict and wherever there is need in the real world. We are currently all working full-time, all day, every day (and sometimes nights) to carry out this work. We have traveled to more than 56 countries and hundreds of cities to bring the love of God in Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
We do not represent any specific denomination, but rather the simple, pure understanding of the Gospel revealed in the New Testament (The most accurate versions are: NASB, KJV, NKJV, NIV). While Michael, the leader of our team, holds a Master's Degree from the largest seminary in the world (Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA), we have chosen to work on the streets and with those who are homeless or going through difficult times as Jesus did.
Some Of The Things We Do
Feeding The Hungry
As often as we can we gather and prepare large amounts of food and then take it and give it out to the homeless in downtown areas, usually a few hundred at a time. Also we create care packages to give to those we meet along the way. The time you spend on the streets, the more you realize they are not "homeless people" but just people who are homeless.
Events
We perform a rehabilitating, educational, and transformative show for those in need, those who are underprivileged, or are suffering in some way. We use as a means to lift and love those who are forgotten. Each year we perform numerous events in various cities and countries. We have also along side numerous ONG's, and governments.
Visiting Orphanages
We work with orphanages in third-world nations to teach courses or visit, depending on the situation. We bring small toys, and gifts, spend time with, and love the children. We put on world-class events with clowns and magic, sometimes organize trips to amusement parks or ice skating, and other activities they would otherwise never experience.
At Risk Youth
We visit countless high-schools in the worst slums of developing nations. We put on events to reach thousands of students simultaneously and help them understand how to escape drugs & violence, engage their intelligence, develop life skills, and reach their full potential. We continue this effort though ongoing mentorship.
Personal Counseling
We maintain contact with hundreds of individuals who reach out to us in many countries through phone calls, emails, text messages, and mailing lists with personal correspondence, counsel, comfort, an accurate understanding of the deep love of God and giving them a strategy to get their lives on track.
Suicide Prevention
In all our work we often talk to individuals who are searching for a reason to carry on. We work hard in all we do to infuse others with real hope, compassion, kindness, and a vision for a meaningful future in God's overwhelming love. Countless individuals have told us that our work has saved their lives.
On The Streets
In third-world countries the streets in many parts are packed with people who are suffering in numerous ways. We canvas the streets, distributing flyers, talking, and listening to individuals from all walks of life to impact their lives with the unconditional love, life and hope that Jesus freely offers.
In Hospitals
As our Lord said "I was sick and you came to visit me." Each hospital is full of so much pain and suffering. It is a complex and difficult environment to work, of course. But we remember those who are sick and visit as often as we can. We are also creating a beautiful video message for when visits are not possible.
With The Elderly
Many elderly people are abandond or neglected or living in homes where they are very alone and often, sad. We have a special activity that is slow paced, gentle, calming and uplifting. Often it is to simply listen, to care, to notice, to ask a name, or give a smile. We have worked in dozens of elderly homes in many countries and continue to do so as often as the opportunity present itself.
Distributing Free Materials
We spend quality time writing, designing, and creating unique and beautifully written and visual materials, have them printed, then distribute them freely. Each year we personally write, produce, and give out more than 100,000 flyers, and booklets, hand to hand, in multiple language.
With Special Needs
We often work with centers that care for those with Autism, Downs syndrom and special needs. We believe that each person matters no matter the issues they are dealing with. We use our show to bring a moment of joy and our personal touch to bring love and hope to these beautiful individuals.
Community Events
We volunteer and participate with various community events and programs in any way we can to help reach out to those who are in need in unique ways. From a homeless shelter in Albuqueque, New Mexico to a favela in Jardim Colombo, Brazil, our heart is to serve.
A Recent Letter From An Incarcerated Individual
Good Morning.
I know that you guys are probably on the road doing what you all do best, giving people real hope. I just wanted to let you know how things are going with me. Since watching your videos and reading your magazines, and especially after hearing from you, I have made a big change in my life in so short a time. And the great thing about it all is that you don’t try to shove the Bible down a person’s throat or try to use Christianity to force a person to change. You come with real life experiences. And like your name says, you all come from deep in the heart. I thank you for it and pray that I can become an inspiration for some one else because of you. Thank you for the songs you all sing in your videos, thank you for the history lessons, and thank you for the feeling of family. I wish you and all your family the greatest of blessings. Thank you and God bless you. I don’t think you guys are aware of how much you touch the heart of men like myself who once thought that suicide would be my only way out. But you all made me see that I am somebody. I can make a change.
I have been drug-free for over six months and I don’t have the urge to get high. I left all my negative vices in the past and began a journey of positiveness. The people I converse with tell me I am different. I am trying to be the type of person you all have successfully become. I feel better about myself now and I have the urge to now live. I guess you say how has your videos accomplished so much in so short a time. Well, it is simply that you all seem to really care. You all don’t do this for a paycheck, or for to glorified. We don’t have that here in the belly of the beast. So it is truly an inspiration to have normal people like you all who really do what you do because you care. And helped me understand that God does still love me despite my wrongs. I even told my mother about you all and she is so thankful that you gave me a reason to live. I truly thank you and pray that God will bless you all in the greatest way.
